I. PURPOSE, REQUEST
– Dat Sen Hong – Dong Thap Marathon 2022 is a tourism and cultural sport event activity, aiming to maintain an annual organization to propagate and promote tourism, especially green tourism; creating conditions for tourists to visit, experience and explore the scenery in Dong Thap province in general and Cao Lanh City in particular; To step up the propaganda, promotion and tourism promotion and introduce the image of Dong Thap province to the people of the country; at the same time, propagandize and mobilize organizations and individuals participating in tourism activities towards jointly preserving and promoting the benefits from tourism resources that nature brings;
– Through the tournament to propagate and raise people's awareness about physical training and sports to improve health, stature and quality of life; Continue to promote the campaign "All people practice body following the great Uncle Ho's example" in Dong Thap province in the period of 2022 - 2030;
– The organization must ensure absolute safety for visitors and people to participate; have serious and thoughtful preparation in the spirit of thrift; Ensure the requirements of technical expertise, promote the sports spirit of solidarity, honesty and development.
II. OBJECTIVES- CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
– All Vietnamese and foreign citizens who love to run and have full health are eligible to register to participate in the competition.
– Athletes under 16 years old registering to participate in the tournament must have a parent or legal guardian sign a disclaimer agreement.
Participants (Runners) must be able to complete the race in the allotted time for each of the following respective distances:
+ All runners (runners) participating under 18 years old in the year of the race must have the endorsement of a sponsor or parent. Sponsor or parent must sign the disclaimer prior to the race. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse the right to compete to athletes who have not completed a confirmation form signed by a sponsor or parent.
+ Each runner must sign a disclaimer before participating as part of the registration process. Unless otherwise specified by the Organizer.
+ Tickets and accompanying items are non-refundable under any circumstances.
+ Competition registration number (BIB) is unique to each participant and cannot be changed.
+ Arbitrary trading and/or transfer of registration number (BIB) is strictly prohibited, the result will not be recognized when it is detected that the vegetarian has the wrong name, wrong bib, wrong registered information.
+ Cancellation, Transfer, and Change:

III. TIME AND PLACE
– Registration: Deadline is. 25/11/2022 (Thursday)
– Receive the race – kit and complete the registration procedure: From 08:00 AM to 19:00PM, November 26, 2022.
– 1st professional meeting: At 15:00, on October 26, 2022 at the Meeting Room of Dong Thap Province Sports Hall.
– Opening Ceremony: At 6pm, November 26, 2022 at the Events area (This Charter replaces the invitation).
– Official tournament competition: November 27, 2022 (Sunday) in Ho Chi Minh City. Cao Lanh - Dong Thap specifically as follows:

– 04:30: Starting distance 21 km;
– 05:45: Starting distance 10 km;
– 06:30: Starting distance 5 km.
IV. TYPES AND CONTENTS OF COMPETITION
+ All athletes start in the same row according to each content.

– Distance 42km: 07 hours;
– Distance 21km: 3:30;
– Distance 10km: 02 hours;
– Distance 05km: 01 hour 15 minutes.

+ Athletes inside and outside the province when registering online on the tournament's information channels: Pay the prescribed fee.
+ Complaint (in writing) after the Organizing Committee announced the results within 20 minutes, with a fee of 500,000 VND/case.
+ The Organizing Committee shall base on the current Regulations of the Tournament and the Law of Athletics Competition to settle complaints; all final decisions of the Organizing Committee, individuals and collectives must absolutely abide by.
V. RECOMMENDATION, DISCIPLINE
1. Rewards
– Official results and prizes will be reviewed and officially announced before awarding.
– The Organizer reserves the right to change the winner if the consideration factors show that the athlete meets the winning conditions.
– All prizes will not be claimed after the event ends.
– Prizes must be received according to the regulations of the Organizer. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash. Athletes (athletes) receive prizes in accordance with the rules and regulations as well as the terms and conditions of the Organizer.
– In the event of a prize dispute between the winners, claims must be made during the event period.
– Runners are solely responsible for paying any taxes associated with the receipt of the prize.

VI. OTHER PROVISIONS
- All runners must receive a Run/Race Kit that includes the BIB – identification number, timekeeping device, and other race aids. Details of the time, location and items received are posted on the program's official website.
– Runners must provide photo identification and an email containing a QR code (or a series of assign bib codes) in electronic or paper form when picking up the race-kit to authenticate the registrant and the corresponding BIB number. response.
– Provide the power of attorney signed by the authorized person (if received on behalf of).
– Runners are responsible for ensuring that the chronometer attached to the bib number is properly worn during the race.
– Athletes will not receive race-kit after the allotted time. The organizers do not deal with the cases of receiving the race-kit after the specified time, and are not responsible for any loss, damage or loss caused by the athlete in any way. To ensure fairness, the organizers will not prolong the race-kit distribution time or ensure that all athletes receive the race-kit. Items not received within the above time will be handled by the Organizer at its sole discretion.
– Runners must follow the instructions of the organizers including race staff, volunteers, medical staff, security staff throughout the duration of the event.
– During the duration of the event, all attendees are expected to behave professionally and politely. For example, only going to the toilet at the designated point, not littering on the running track, not "mistakenly" holding things that are not yours, etc. Anyone violating this code of conduct will be disqualified from the event and forcibly removed from the track.
– Runners must attach their Competition Identification Number (BIB) to the front of their uniform. Athletes not wearing a bib will not be allowed on the track.
– Pets, bicycles, skateboards, strollers, shoes with rollers or other items with wheels are not allowed to be used or carried on the track except for vehicles or ambulances of the Organizing Committee. office.

– All athletes are responsible for learning and remembering about the start time of each distance of the race and their starting time. All athletes must be present on time to receive necessary information from the organizers and participate in the race.
- All runners must stand behind the starting line before starting any respective distances.
– Any participant who does not follow the instructions of the event staff or the race referee, or engages in unsportsmanlike behavior, uses derogatory actions or words towards event staff, volunteers, Attendees or spectators, may be excluded from the event and future events at the discretion of the tournament management.
– After leaving the track, participants will not be allowed to return to the track (absolutely not supporting other athletes participating in the race).
– Any participant who is found by the race referee, event staff or monitoring device to have cheated in any way will be disqualified from the event.
– Attendees who receive any support from anyone who are not part of the organizers will be disqualified from the event. “Support” includes providing information or assistance directly or indirectly to an athlete in any way, including a communication device.
– Any person entering the event without the official BIB number of the event, or using a bib or timing device that is not his or her own will be disqualified from the race, or even from the events in future.
– BIB is the property of the organizer. The organizers have the right to withdraw the athletes' BIB in case the runners have not finished the race at the cut-off time but still want to continue running or violate the rules of the tournament.
– Receiving medical assistance during the event by the event medical staff is not considered a violation of the competition rules and the result will still be valid if the participant is able to complete the race.
– Runners are responsible for educating themselves about the directions and symbols associated with maps, locations, and directions.
– Medical staff designated by the organizers can check any athlete showing signs of unwell health. In the event that medical staff decide that runners should not continue the race, the organizers have the right to remove athletes from the event area.
– Runners must stop competing if requested by event staff, medical staff or authorities (including firefighters and police).
– Runners are responsible and obligated to pay for all and any medical fees incurred as a result of practice and/or event participation, including ambulance transportation, hospital stays, doctors , pharmaceuticals and services.
– The Organizer reserves the right to postpone, cancel or reschedule the tournament depending on the weather emergency.
– Runners need to contact the emergency numbers on BIB when having problems on the track and need to go to the nearest watering point for support when they want to stop the race
